What is Dropified?
Dropified is an automated dropshipping business tool that is compatible with your Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, GrooveKart, or CommerceHQ storefront.
If you take a look at their features, they’re interesting since they don’t just do AliExpress. You can also use other platforms such as eBay. Making sure the suppliers are vetted with quality control may still be an issue with either of these platforms.
Overall, Dropified’s easy integration with other eCommerce platforms is good.
They allow you to offer USA-based products and connect you to the supplier.
The only downside here with Dropified is the upfront pricing. $47 a month just to get started is pretty steep, and you can’t even do a 14-day free trial without entering credit card information.
What is Oberlo?
Oberlo is a dropshipping service that connects AliExpress to your Shopify store. Oberlo is owned by Shopify and is their flagship dropshipping app.
You can start dropshipping for free with their platform on the free starter plan. If you start to make sales, then you can always scale up to their more premium plans in the future.
The Oberlo chrome extension is very helpful for importing products from AliExpress.
This shows you the shipping method, processing time, and useful visual feedback while doing product research.
The main downside to Oberlo is that you’re limited to the Shopify platform and products within AliExpress. Whereas with Dropified, you have a bit more flexibility with suppliers and eCommerce platforms.
To Conclude
At the end of the day, wherever you can find products that serve your needs, in the long run, is another thing to consider.
Both Dropified and Oberlo allow you to get started with your dropshipping business. The platforms also offer valuable case studies on their blogs detailing how other people found success.
