What Is An Ecommerce Landing Page Or Sales Page Funnel?
Let's assume you've been in a grocery store before.
Because, well all humans eat food...
When you're scouring the aisles trying to decide what you food you want to eat or bring home, you're looking at sales pages. The packaging on the outside of food is what helps you decide if you want it or not.
It's the same concept online!
You must compel your potential customers to decide to purchase your product.

In this sales funnel template, the imagery, wording, colors, and options you choose to display is the difference between a beautiful sales page that converts...
...and one that flat out stinks.
Now I'm not an "artist" by any means, but in order to make this work you do want to follow some basic psychology principles and design elements that capture people.

Ready to get started building your eCommerce landing page sales funnel to start selling your physical products better? Great!
I'm going to take you through the process step-by-step... So let's jump in!
Step 1: Install WordPress, Build Your Basic Website
The first step is to get your WordPress hosting set up: https://www.brennanvaleski.com/hosting
Once the hosting is set up we configure the WordPress platform for security with an SSL. This is free with the basic Bluehost plan in the hosting settings options.
Your domain should read "https" vs "http".
This protects your visitors information, and makes your site safe for Google.
Step 2: Install Thrive Themes To Your WordPress Site
The second step is to get your funnel building software set up: https://www.brennanvaleski.com/thrive
Then we add the funnel building plug-in called Thrive Architect and begin to actually create the eCommerce landing page. This will be how you bring in the initial people into your ecom funnel.
Not to mention, Thrive Themes also offers a large amount of different sales funnel templates to choose from as well.
If you would like to create a full website with blog posts and other exciting features, I would recommend you go with the Thrive Membership option. If you only care about building landing pages, then just get the single-license for Thrive Architect.
Step 3: Connect Your Shopify Store Or Other Checkout
The third and final step is to connect your product checkout system: https://www.brennanvaleski.com/shopify
This is the web store where you host all of your eCommerce products.
If you desire to sell other types of products in combination with this system, you can also choose to connect email opt-in options directly within Thrive Themes. In addition, you can choose to link to other information product based systems as well.
However for an ecom funnel, we then connect our Shopify store's checkout system. Next we use cart permalinks to pre-load the cart. When our potential customers click on our eCommerce landing page product "add to cart" button it takes them to the checkout page on our Shopify store.
If you would like to find out more about cart permalinks, you can checkout the rest of the post from Shopify.
Now you should be all set!
Above all if you have followed along you will have a complete eCommerce landing page creation system. Plus the ability to design any custom page funnels you like!
Operating on WordPress your total investment (depending on which plan you choose for the tools) will be between $300 and $500.
This is the exact system I use with all of my businesses and my clients.
